I'm hoping to test this list in the near future, but conceptually it's a pretty heavy-handed beatdown list. The Scather and Kallus choke up infantry charge lanes with their persistent AOE while the Carniveans and Swordsmen get ready for the charge. The Legionnaires camp objectives while the small unit of Swordsmen acts as a shield for the bigger one.

I'm still not sure on the reinforcements for this list - right now I'm thinking maybe a Stinger or Shredder and Nephilim Soldier. I'm probably going to be using this list in Hardcore - it's proving solid so far, and I get to show off my Throne. It handles attrition far better than I thought it would, probably because I've been using Saeryn's feat defensively. I think it wins most games by scenario, unless the Angelii get a really perfect assassination opportunity.

Played a game with the Kallus list yesterday. The scenario was process of elimination. My opponent's list was:

I got Molik Missile'd at the top of three. I think the list did everything it was supposed to, the fault was in me falling for the one thing I knew to be watching out for. I might swap out the Scather for a unit of Bone Grinders or a Witch Doctor.

I've done a little more list-building in War Room. I think I might try the following for Saeryn's reinforcements:

Additionally, I've been playing more games with Kallus, and my record with him is proving sub-par. Maybe I'll pick up a second Throne and run that Rhyas list I've been talking about for ages.

I usually think three Spell Martyrs are too much, but here they force the opponent into a choice - either they devote resources to killing 1-point chumps (and then get slammed with everything else) or ignore the Spell Martyrs and have nowhere to hide from Eruption of Spines on Beth's feat turn.
